AI evaluation of exams and homework, with a teacher in the loop.
Marking is where a teacher's evenings disappear - and where students most often feel a grade was unfair without being able to ask why. AI Assessment evaluates online and handwritten answers against your rubric, explains every mark it gives, and releases nothing until a teacher approves it. Any mark can be questioned, and every change is on the record.
How AI assessment works
Four steps from answer sheet to report card - with the AI doing the first pass, and a teacher making every final call.
Capture every answer, online or on paper
Online tests and homework come in directly. Handwritten answer scripts are scanned or photographed, and the handwriting is read question by question - so offline exams go through exactly the same process as online ones.
Evaluate against your rubric
The AI proposes marks question by question using the school's own marking scheme, including step marking and partial credit. Every mark comes with its reasoning, linked to the exact lines in the student's answer it was based on.
A teacher reviews and approves
Answers the AI is less sure about are flagged and shown first. The teacher accepts, edits or overrides any mark, and nothing reaches a student or parent until the teacher signs it off.
Release, explain, and allow disputes
Students and parents see each mark with the reason behind it. If a student disagrees, they raise a dispute on that specific question - it goes back to the teacher with the answer, the AI's reasoning and the rubric side by side.
"An AI should never have the final word on a child's marks. It should show its working - and a teacher should sign it off."
Transparent, disputable AI assessment.
Faster marking only matters if students, parents and teachers can trust the result. Every part of AI Assessment is built so a mark can be explained, checked and challenged.
Online and handwritten exams
One process for online tests, homework and scanned paper answer scripts - no separate system for offline exams.
Marks against your rubric
Evaluation follows the school's own marking scheme, with step marking and partial credit, not a generic answer key.
Every mark explained
Each mark shows why it was given and which part of the student's answer it was based on - no unexplained scores.
Teacher approval before release
The AI proposes; the teacher decides. Low-confidence answers are flagged first, and nothing is released without sign-off.
Disputes built in
Students can question a specific mark in a couple of taps. The teacher reviews it with full context and the outcome is recorded.
Complete audit trail
Every AI suggestion, teacher change and dispute decision is timestamped - ready for parents, boards or inspections.
A unit test, from answer sheet to report card
Thirty-eight handwritten scripts used to mean a weekend of marking - and a week of 'why did I lose that mark?' afterwards. Here's the same test with AI Assessment.
The test is written on paper
Class 10B sits a 40-minute science test. Afterwards, the answer sheets are scanned in a few minutes at the staff room.
A first pass, already done
Every script has proposed marks against the rubric, with reasons. Six answers are flagged where the handwriting or the student's method was unclear.
The teacher reviews and approves
The flagged answers come first. The teacher adjusts two marks, spot-checks the rest, and approves the class in under an hour.
Results go out, with reasons
Students and parents see each mark alongside the explanation. Mistakes flow into the AI Coach as targeted practice for each student.
A dispute, settled in minutes
A student questions the mark on question 4. The teacher sees the answer, the reasoning and the rubric together, revises the mark, and the change is logged.

AI Assessment closes the loop between what's taught, what's tested and what's practised next.
Who sees what
Teachers approve, students and parents see the reasons, and management sees consistent, auditable results.

A few things that come up before a school commits.
Does the AI decide the final marks?
No. The AI proposes marks with reasons, but a teacher approves every result before it is released. Teachers can change any mark at any time.
Can it evaluate handwritten, offline exams?
Yes. Paper answer scripts are scanned or photographed and evaluated the same way as online answers. Anything the AI can't read confidently is flagged for the teacher rather than guessed.
How does a student dispute a mark?
From the result screen, the student picks the question and says why they disagree. The teacher sees the answer, the AI reasoning and the rubric together, decides, and the outcome is recorded for everyone.
What kinds of questions can it mark?
Objective questions, short answers, long answers and step-by-step working in subjects like maths and science - all against the school's own rubric, including partial credit.
Is it fair across sections and teachers?
Every script is evaluated against the same rubric in the same way, which makes marking more consistent across classes - and the audit trail shows exactly where and why a teacher adjusted a mark.
